Tim Harkin

Tim Harkin's Supply Chain expertise is extensive, having worked both from an industry and talent acquisition perspective since the mid 1990s. His professional career commenced within the Logistics industry where he progressed from Operational roles through to Business Development over a ten year period, with a number of high profile third party service providers.
In order to further develop his career and gain international experience and expertise, Tim moved to London in 1999 joining a Global FMCG company. He was appointed to a high profile role in the Shipping department. This period was influential in shaping Tim's view of both global commerce and the business criticality of the Supply Chain function.
Upon returning to Australia in the early part of 2001, Tim was approached by a global human resources group to head up their Supply Chain and Procurement function from a talent acquisition perspective. This proved to be a highly successful transition and since then he has built a strong profile and reputation for conducting highly targeted, often international search assignments across the Supply Chain and Logistics sectors.
Since joining Boomerang, Tim has continued to partner with specific organisations looking to develop competitive advantages via their ability to identify and attract world class talent in the Supply Chain and Logistics fields.
