Michele Gurunlian
Principal
Michele is a consultant based in our Brisbane practice, with a focus across Mining & Resources, Transport, Industrial and GOCs.
Prior to joining Boomerang in January 2008, Michele was employed by a leading executive recruitment and selection firm where she headed the Human Resources, Contracting and Sales & Marketing disciplines, in addition to managing executive appointments for several clients.
Michele started her career in recruitment and executive search in London in 1996; and before relocating to Australia in 2004, she worked for the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy (CIPFA) where she specialised in placing finance executives into critical, interim positions within local government.
Prior to that, Michele worked in both specialist consultancies and in-house positions and over the course of her career, she has developed a broad range of experience across many business segments.
Since moving to Brisbane, Michele has worked with many of Australia's leading employers, successfully managing a diverse range of executive search assignments, both domestic and international. Her key appointments include CEO and CFO roles and Director level positions across Marketing, Corporate Services & Human Resources.
