Michele Blum
Principal
Michele has extensive experience in the professional services sector, primarily with law firms having spent 15 years finding talent at a legal and operational level as well as having worked as a practising lawyer for many years. In addition, she has worked with the management teams of accounting, engineering and management consulting firms and placed non-executive directors on the Boards of top ASX-listed companies. Prior to her move into executive search, she held a number of senior marketing and managerial roles, both within the public and private sectors.
Her work in search has included placing partners and senior associates with law firms at a national and international level. Her service offering has extended to the appointment of C-level positions and their direct reports. On the corporate side, her work has also included the appointment of general and legal counsel, as well as company secretaries and compliance officers.
In recent years, Michele established the Sydney office of a Melbourne-based firm where she consulted to professional services organisations. Her focus again was primarily on law firms. Michele's in-depth exposure to the legal area has given her an excellent appreciation of a client's needs in regard to talent search and the ability to identify leading professionals in the sector.
Michele holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Jurisprudence degree.
