Deep leads our professional services and industrials practices across Asia. She undertakes legal, financial officers and industrial assignments throughout Asia and Australia.
Prior to joining Boomerang, Deep was a consultant with a top tier global search firm in Australia where she was a member of the corporate officers and industrials practice. She has successfully completed numerous high profile assignments involving General Counsels, Chief Financial Officers as well as General Managers of top 100 listed companies.
Prior to her career as a search consultant, Deep was a mergers and acquisitions lawyer for seven years, initially with Slaughter and May, a magic circle firm in London, and subsequently with Freehills, a leading Australian firm in Sydney where she acted for listed companies as well as private clients, with an emphasis on the industrials sector.
Deep is a (non-practising) solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. She received her law degrees from St Catherine's College, Oxford University where she was the David Blank Scholar.
She has a broad international background having worked in the UK, US, Australia and Singapore, which she now calls home. She has also lived in India and Hong Kong. Apart from native English, Deep speaks fluent Hindi and conversational French.
Deep is a keen scuba diver, mountain hiker, photographer and loves fine dining and exploring Asian street food. If she only had a day left, she would take her friends and family on a boat and go diving.
