David Tan
Principal
David joined Boomerang in September 2010 after three years as an Associate with a top tier global search firm. Previously, David was the head of research and knowledge management at a boutique executive search firm.
A knowledge and information professional for over 17 years, David worked as a manager for eight years in the customer insights and research function of a large Australian retailer. He has also worked in the corporate and public sector in the areas of resources, public utilities, agriculture and environment.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe University Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma in Information Services and Master of Business (IT) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management from Flinders University Adelaide, and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (Executive) from the University of Queensland/Mt Eliza Business School.
He is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Library and Information Association, and a graduate of the 9th Aurora Leadership Institute.
