Formed in July 2002 in Sydney, Boomerang Executive set out to compete with the world's best search firms by delivering exemplary search campaigns in an ethical, honest way. Core to the strategy was to become Asia Pacific's favourite search firm by treating everyone with respect, and working tirelessly to help people succeed. Since then the firm has built a loyal team of like-minded people in Consulting, Research and Support.

To meet the challenge of hiring the best business leaders in the region, Boomerang has built a full-time, in-house research team. Every consultant at Boomerang has the support of a dedicated researcher. Since 2004, the company has designed and implemented its own best-practice search methodology, based on worldwide research. In 2005, the company opened its first interstate office in Melbourne, and since has expanded into Brisbane, Perth and Singapore. Boomerang retains its people with an industry-best equity scheme, ensuring continuity for clients, and a collaborative team environment.

Boomerang Board Consulting connects Directors with best fit Boards and provides innovative evaluation methods to offer Boards critical value and insights. With over a decade of experience, the Boomerang Board Consulting team has travelled globally researching Board best practice methods. The team has authored internationally and continue to be instrumental in the evolvement of contemporary Board evaluation models, designed to be globally and culturally adaptable.
